There are many ways to support the Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation. Our special events promise good food and fun while also supporting what we do. We are also looking for volunteers to help us with our events and to help us launch a new program called Firsthand Oregon.
Salmon Quest
Please join us on April 17th 2010 for Salmon Quest! Fish area rivers in a friendly competition for the biggest and most fish caught then enjoy a delicious dinner and benefit auction that follows at the Embassy Suites Hotel (Airport). Click here for more information or here to register.

Upland Bird Classic
The Columbia Sportswear Upland Bird Classic was held September 18, 2009 at the DoubleTree Hotel at Lloyd Center. About 200 people attended the dinner and benefit auction for Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation and contributed more than $97,000, which will be used to improve upland bird habitat in northeast Oregon. Bitsy Kelly was chairwoman.

Volunteering with OWHF
If you would like to support our work as a volunteer, we have opportunities available! We are looking for people to help us with our special events and Firsthand Oregon.
If you would like to volunteer with us for Salmon Quest or the Upland Bird Classic we need help with the auction, mailings, and day-of-event support.
We are also building a list of volunteers to help us launch an excursion program called Firsthand Oregon. Through field trips led by qualified volunteers and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife staff, program participants will learn firsthand about Oregon's natural places, species, and conservation issues. If you are a retired fish or wildlife biologist, have a natural resources or interpretation background and would like to share your knowledge and experience with others, consider joining us as a Firsthand Oregon trip leader!
